I am a twenty-something female originally from South Wales who moved to London about six years ago where I loved living in Vauxhall for almost 3 years. In a bitter sweet departure I am now living in Essex having bought my first home this year 🙂
From a young age I have always loved cooking and anything to do with food. This passion grew when at 16 I got my first job as a waitress at the world renowned Celtic Manor Resort, home of the Ryder Cup 2010. From that I gained knowledge and an understanding of what good service and food should look like, some would say I’m occasionally too critical when dining out but it means you can be sure of an honest and educated account of the places I visit and review within this blog.
I started reviewing restaurants online and instagraming the latest meal I’d cooked when I moved out of Wales, which is one of the reasons why I’ve decided to write this blog. This blog won’t cover every latest restaurant and pop up opening because I’m simply not that in the know – believe me I wish I was. Neither do I claim that every recipe is original and my own because I’m not a chef and quite often get things wrong. However, I do hope you’ll find an honest and informative account of my restaurant and kitchen experiences from the Valleys to Vauxhall – and now Essex!
I hope you and your tummy enjoy 🙂
